Another great tool that we have developed for the Retail Industry is the Advertise Me Background Reader. This tool will basically allow a Windows POS systems to read barcode/RFID token or card/NFC codes and submits this information to a mysql server database. If your digital signage system supports the ability to read from a database, then I’m sure you will be able to trigger/display information based on the information submitted. As an example, you can use it to display membership information on the screens the member ship card is scanned.
It is not restricted by the model/brand of the barcode or RFID scanner.
We have included a Demo version of the software which you can download. The limitation is that the software will be able to read the codes but will not allow you to submit it to your database. If you’re interested in the full version then please contact us.
